As a reception volunteer, I take down client details and matter type in order for conflict checks to be done in a timely manner ensuring a smooth running of the service. After a 5-6 month period, reception volunteers are promoted to Caseworker volunteer positions.

Internship - Reception Volunteer

In this student position, I was given the opportunity to assist and shadow Victoria Legal Aid Duty Lawyers at the Sunshine Magistrates Court. I would assist by organising and distributing paperwork for clients to complete and ensure they paperwork was completed properly, photocopy the clients paperwork and shadow the lawyers in different situations.
