As part of a dedicated post-sales solutioning and troubleshooting team, I helped IBM’s clients and business partners in leveraging Public Cloud technologies. This role has seen me work with varied clients and Business Partners to help develop solutions to run their workloads on the cloud, support migrations or simply help identify and remove blockers preventing them from getting the most out of their cloud workloads.
Through this role I have worked with a varied set of clients in the federal government, telco and financial services sectors, as well as with smaller-scale firms.
My duties included: • Working closely with IBM Cloud customers (in collaboration with tech sellers and customer service managers) to identify and then help deploy workloads for clients who may be new to IBM Cloud – including helping enable and upskill technically savvy clients on using IBM Cloud • As part of a small but effective team, developing proof-of-concepts (PoC) to demonstrate solutions to issues or blockers that clients may be facing while deploying/running a workload on IBM Cloud • Identifying, then working with appropriate Offering Management (OM) teams to implement, solutions to potential functional gaps or feature requirements that clients may have as blockers for a potential workload on IBM Cloud • Identifying, then working with appropriate Cloud Support or Offering Management teams to resolve, bugs or other issues that clients may come across whilst using various Cloud services
