The Clinic was required to conduct research and provide assistance for climate NGOs, activists and individuals. My team and I were required to draft a memorandum of advice on court interpretation of legislation based in Australia, UK, Canada and New Zealand. We were required to present our findings and advice we gave to our client regarding strategic climate litigation.

I am currently a final year law student hoping to apply my experience in research, legal services and critical thinking. I wish to gain opportunities to develop my skills in problem solving and innovation. I also have a passion for Privacy Law and its intersection with Human Rights and hope to be a part of the future of regulation surrounding technology in the digital age.

This role required me to correspond and provide legal services to asylum seekers that approached the centre who were seeking legal advice/assistance. This involved coordinating files, answering enquiries and using interpreters when required.
