My name is Ian Keim and I am seeking to advance my career by making a two-year commitment to be a lab technician. My goal is to engage in research which allows me to garner new skills and make me a more competitive candidate for graduate programs. I hope by immersing myself deeply into research and the maintenance of a lab that I will be able to gain insight into the topics and approaches to understanding the natural world at the molecular level which suit me best. I can achieve these goals best by becoming a member of a research team that not only participates in the overall maintenance of the lab but also contributes to the research being done.
