Using HCD methodology the team works on 12 week projects aimed at improving the student experience. In this role I have been involved in participant recruitment, assisting with co-design workshops and interviews and synthesising key themes into insights.  Currently I am running Ux testing on a new app for 2020 commencing students to help prepare and connect them to the university.

Womendeavour supports and empowers women-identifying graduate students with the networks, skills and know-how to transition to the workplace. 
As co-founder and president this role has included volunteer hours in organisation strategy and recruitment, event and partnerships management, marketing and communication tasks.

My previous experience has always revolved around collaborating or seeking to help other people.  I am currently studying what has been described as a 'MBA for creatives', incorporating the strongest elements from both a business and arts degree. I thrive in environments where I can collaborate with others to find dynamic and engaging solutions to problems. 
Joining the Graduate Student Association's LEAD program this year has encouraged me to focus on my leadership and working style. Deciding to co-found a new university club that identify the difficulty students - in particular women - have in transitioning from university into the workplace. 
I'm ready for the next challenge for my personal and professional development!

As a resident assistant I had responsibilities across three main areas: event planning, student welfare, and administration. My biggest achievement was organising a video fundraiser in association with Backpack Beds for Homeless. Through stakeholder management we secured that our funds raised over $2,500 was to be doubled by the company and put towards helping 90 individuals facing homelessness.
