 As a student of marketing management, I have been actively looking to gain some local industry experience, to enhance and expand my capabilities.
As a student of marketing management, I understand the modern workings of marketing in the digital world. The extensive platforms that are available to the consumers and the channels that facilitate communication and influence the mindset. “MARKETING” is the single most important tool that can make or break the image. It is a core element of any business you undertake, if one is unable to get the right image or message delivered, revenues and sales take a hit. Thus, with the power that marketing is now exerting in our daily life, it is truly essential to learn and ace the game. Working with your company and incorporating my university learnings to the real-life world will help me prepare for the future.  Not only does this opportunity add to my skill set but also to my overall knowledge and understanding of a workspace. With a view to go the long way in the marketing world, I wish to seek this opportunity. Exposure to an opportunity this massive and working in an environment which is global will add to my skill set and understanding of the corporate world. I am bound to go through new experiences, initiating personal growth. I am enthusiastic about learning, exploring, facing challenges and making a change. A value addition like this is bound to evolve me. With the level of exposure that is being provided with this internship, I assume the competition to be immense but I believe that if I was selected for the position, I would not only put in my absolute best but also push my limits to achieve the high standard of work that the company delivers on.
I have had some local marketing and publicity experience back in India. My work experience and volunteer experience has been essential in facilitating the development of skills like time management, reliability, punctuality, attention to detail and persuasion. I was in-charge of plenty of duties, like coordination between department’s and persuading sponsors of our capabilities and creating the essentials of a brand. As a publicity and marketing officer, I had to work on the development of different strategies which were customer specific and hit the target audience. My responsibility also included managing different campaigns, undertaking promotional events and handling social media platforms. I also believe that I have high interpersonal skills and a drive to learn and grasp.

Advertise and approach potential and current stakeholders to create interest and funds, face to face interactions and interviews to spread more information about the events and create awareness and public interest

As a marketing volunteer my main role was to narrow down potential investors , approach them via social media platforms or face to face to be able to invest in our product idea. I also had to research potential clients and convince them to attend and invest in our events. Handled all social media platforms and did daily quizzes and face to face interactions to increase engagement skills
