United Nations SDG Case Competition

United Nations, Google and UNSW Business School

Australia

A competition offered to students completing a degree in the UNSW Business School. It is centered around analytical investigations and evaluations of drivers underpinning universal 'Climate Change' issues prevalent in Australia, and possible rational strategies of working towards the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDG). It is materialized through peer groups delivering presentations addressing the problem, and creative resolutions for countering Climate Change.
Progressed to the heats (top 12 performing groups) in the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals competition out of 59 teams across University of New South Wales, University of Melbourne and Monash University. This is due to our effective presentation skills and incorporation of the financial and innovative aspect of sustainable growth and working towards sustainable solutions in terms of the shift from fossil fuel to renewable energy. This involved deep research into ethical fund investments from companies listed on the ASX.
