I'm a postgraduate student currently enrolled in the Master of Data Science at Charles Darwin University. Coming from a business background, I have solid technical knowledge in Accounting and Finance. However, while in my previous role as an Assistant Accountant for a small retail company, as part of my responsibilities, I had to generate and analyse various sales, costs, and product reports. I was captivated by the numbers in these reports, and I was keen on uncovering the hidden meaning behind the numbers. And that was when I decided to change my career path and determined to become a business analyst in the future. Having no background in IT or Mathematics, I endured some difficulties getting grasp of the learning materials at my university. To overcome this obstacle, I had to teach myself statistics and some basic coding skills. Over time,  I became more comfortable with statistics and coding, I managed to impress my supervisor with my master thesis, and was offered assistance to turn my thesis into a research paper.
