I am a Computational Biologist with a specific interest in Plant Bioinformatics research for the betterment of agriculture. 

I am currently proficient in NGS data analysis pipelines such as RNA-Seq, DNA-Seq, ChIP-Seq, Genome-Wide Association Studies (GWAS) and metagenomics, which I have facilitated through the computational skills I developed by learning Python, R and Bash. Additionally, I have dabbled in Relational Database Management Systems and SQL to broaden my skillset to accommodate the inter-disciplinary nature of the field of Bioinformatics. 

My current project commitments include searching for RNAi targets in fire ants and understanding tumor heterogeneity.  

I spread the word on sustainable menstrual hygiene and teach young women how to achieve a "zero waste period".
