Hello! I'm Dylan Pingitore, I love to learn and I'm currently a full-time student at Deakin University studying a Bachelor of Business - Project Management / Sustainability and Development at Deakin Cloud Campus, while I also work full time as a Utility Coordinator at as US Civil Engineering firm.

I am looking for opportunities to transfer my skills and work experience from working in the US energy sector in both engineering and state authority roles with my current degree to a career back home in Australia.

I grew up on a farm in regional Victoria and have a strong desire to work back in a regional community in a role within sustainable development in either transportation or the energy sector.

A career highlight for me would have been in 2019, I was fortunate to be a volunteer with the NRECA International program and worked in regional Guatemala  with public owned utility, "Empresa Municipal Rural de Electricidad" (EMRE) on a joint project to help build distribution infrastructure in remote areas that had requested it, the project was honestly an amazing learning experience with probably the biggest takeaway for me being that especially sometimes to be the most helpful is to just listen and ask questions.

-Coordinate and manage staff and line crews from other states on interstate projects.
-Public speaking at industry events.
-Mediate disputes between member utilities and their customers, both
retail and commercial.
-Ensure member utilities are following correct guidelines when handling
disputes, such as “right of way” conflicts, unpaid accounts, and net
metering for distributed generation.
