Spent 10 days assisting around the farm in the care and husbandry of llamas and alpacas. Helped farm owner with day-today farm work (e.g. clearing weeds around the pond). Socialised with all animals on the farm to ensure they are used to human contact for future visitors.

Spent 5 days providing assistance around the farm to care for the studs and mares in multiple paddocks. Horses were looked after for the purpose of selling them for racing or to other farmers.

Spent 10 days providing assistance around the farm in keeping piggery sheds clean and ensuring the pigs are constantly fed. Husbandry practices were performed to keep up with industry best practices. The business is a commercial piggery that is generally used for research and also selling pigs for meat sales.

Shadowed the Chief Veterinary Medical Officer and the Veterinary Dermatologist who explained different procedures around the hospital. Supported the veterinary nurses around the hospital with in-patient duties.
