Preparing cast for Watch This' 2015 production of 'Company' (dir. Kat Henry) at fortyfivedownstairs. Also included creating arrangements (down to a four-piece), working closely with the choreographer (Michael Ralph), designers, and production team. 
Additionally, we toured the production through regional Victoria in 2016.

Musical Director

I'm a composer, musical director, arranging, singer & accompanist from Melbourne, Australia. 
I've been a musician my whole life - studying classical piano, voice, cello, harpsichord, french horn, and more as a child, and participating in ensemble playing and singing such as Melbourne Youth Orchestra and Gondwana Voices. 
I studied Melbourne University's now-defunct Bachelor of Creative Arts, and found myself incredibly involved in musical theatre on campus, after realising musical direction was a place all my skillsets met. I've been incredibly dedicated to my craft ever since, and working professionally in the industry for almost 10 years now. (Head to experience for some work highlights!)
I turned towards composing and writing as a way of investigating the things that are really important to me in this industry: representation of women in creative teams, representation and inclusion in rich roles on stage, and Australian voice and storytelling. I've now had works produced/workshopped here, in Chicago, in NYC, and in London. 
I teach into the music theatre course at Monash University, using my wealth of experience and knowledge to encourage creative thinking and critical analysis in musical theatre.

Teaching groups of children and young adults (ages 3-19) in weekly performing arts classes.
Twice a year, students perform for family and friends & I often played in the band for these performances, or helped with mainstage programming. 
School holiday programs included shows such as Wicked, Les Miserables, The Secret Garden, and many more.
