A doctoral candidate in biomedical science. My research is based on understanding the regulation of thyroid hormones in the brain and its association with the generation of specific cell types (oligodendrocytes) that aid in neuroprotection, function and repair. I hope to elucidate crucial mechanisms required for neural repair that will help in the development of a therapy for neurological disorders such as Multiple Sclerosis.
