I am a 3rd Year Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) student majoring in Mechanical and Aerospace at the University of Queensland. I love to read, bake, paint and be surrounded by friends and family. My main hobby (other than studying at university) is The Arts, particularly music. I have always been very heavily involved in music, from being a member of the Queensland Youth Orchestra (this will be my 9th year in the orchestra) to volunteering at the Gold Coast Commonwealth Games 2018! I am hard-working, motivated and dedicated, and would love to learn more about the Engineering industry and community, as well as improve myself and skills.

I work as a Student Staff Partner for the University of Queensland, where I am on the “21st Century Learning Resources” project. I work with the Staff to help identify the problem and give them ideas on how to improve upon that aspect of the project.

During the summer holidays, I am a volunteer at the Akooramak Nursing home, where I have the opportunity to assist the staff with their afternoon activities for the residents. It is my job to engage and encourage the residents and other volunteers throughout the activities.

Over the 2019-2020 Summer holidays I volunteered with the SD Community Relief Group (a part of the Warwick Rotary group) where I had to guide, inform and support the farmers and residents that were coming to collect water supplies.

I was fortunate enough to be a Volunteer at the 2018 Gold Coast Commonwealth Games. My role was to be an assistant for Front and Back of house for Festival 2018, as well as being a member in the Information Booth.
