I was introduced to the world of Colour and Trim design and the design workflow collaborating with different departments. I specifically focused on trend forecasting, competitor benchmarking, and colour development for GM's global portfolio. I also focused on full production programs. researching customer profile specific colour and materials and developing interior decor patterns and themes.

Maybe I am just another idealistic Industrial Design student, but I really believe design will shape this coming century and the lives of everyone on this planet. Hopefully for the better!

That bike seat above in the banner, that was grown from mycelium, its like mushroom neural network! It may help reduce plastic and foam waste in General Motors production process one day. It also may not.

At the least, and possibly more importantly, it has challenged the status quo. Opened the eyes of GM's design leaders to new options and innovative solutions. 

That is what design and innovation are all about, and that is what I am all about! Trying something new, pushing the boundaries and challenging the accepted methods.
