With an interest in exploring and spreading awareness about environmental issues we face today, I have recently completed a unique blend of Arts and Science, majoring in Screen & Media and Ecology & Evolutionary Biology at Flinders University. 
I am originally from Romania, grew up in Thailand studying at an international school, and graduated in Australia; therefore, I have the background that has allowed me to develop great communication skills and intercultural competence.
I am an organized, reliable and friendly high achiever who currently works as a part-time Laboratory Research Assistant and casual STEM Outreach Ambassador at Flinders University. However, I am currently seeking to find more opportunities in the conservation or environmental project workspace and am willing to go outside of my comfort zone.  

Organising, sorting, providing data entry, extracting and quantifying hundreds of DNA samples from Murray Cod, Silver Perch, and Golden Perch fish species for the ‘Fish Gen’ government project which genetically monitors fish in the Murray-Darling Basin origins as stocked (captive-born and released) or wild. Also helping out with other projects in the laboratory.

I professionally represent and promote Flinders University at events such as Open Days, Science Alive and work with high school students in STEM related workshops. I have also contributed to short story newsletter writing, and creating artwork for promotional posters and activity sheets. Currently designing an observational drawing workshop to teach online.
