I am a highly motivated individual seeking to attain knowledge and experience, I am interested in submitting an application for an internship or employment positions in finance, risk-management or actuary field.
I am a first year undergraduate student studying Bachelor of Actuarial Studies/Commerce in UNSW, and I am seeking internship or employment with firms in Sydney to gain knowledge and experience beyond my university studies. Through working, I wish to attain entrepreneurial skills and qualities which will enhance my ability to cooperate productively within a team and develop skills which will not only benefit my studies, but also future careers.
Having been a leader of my high school community volunteer group as well as working in the National Association for the Bereaved by Suicide, I have attained communication and organisational skills, as well as drive for definite results. I am proud of my mathematical skills, as reflected in rank 2/187 for Mathematics Extension 1 at Baulkham Hills High School as well as other achievements such as High Distinction for the Australian Mathematics Competition. My fluency in Korean, reflected through 95 HSC Mark, will also be an asset, enabling communication with colleagues and customers from diverse backgrounds.
