I’m Vivek Ashok Chandrika. I recently graduated from The University of Melbourne having completed a master of marketing communications course.
As I began my career in market research and brand strategy I realised the importance of using digital channels to research and reach consumers. This coupled with my experience as a brand strategist inspired me to study a masters degree in marketing communications with a focus on market research, consumer behaviour, and brand strategy. I completed three internships in digital marketing in Melbourne and an academic research internship at The University of Melbourne. Out of my own interest I completed Google AdWords and Google Analytics certificate courses along with learning Facebook Insights, MailChimp Analytics, and basic HTML & CSS coding.
I currently work as a marketing assistant at Windsor College where I assist in digital marketing including search campaigns, social media marketing, website maintenance and copy writing. Additionally, I assist in maintaining the annual marketing plan, developing marketing collateral, assisting the sales team, and other marketing activities.
I'm an optimistic, hardworking, and pro-active person. I get along very well with people and they love working with me. I'm eternally curious and jump at a chance to learn something new. I'm known as a person who always gets things done. New challenges and problems excite me and the satisfaction of solving such problems is immeasurable.
