I am a highly driven Social Science (Environment) graduate seeking to use my excellent communication skills, teamwork skills, stakeholder management skills and computer skills in order to help provide excellent research support, communications/marketing support, event management support, administrative support, team support, project support and office support.
I have graduated from RMIT University with a Bachelor of Environment and Society Degree. Essentially, it is a Social Science based course with a strong focus on sustainability, environmental management, policy, sociology and urban planning.
I have worked at SlatteryIT as a PA/Admin Assistant. My role mainly revolved around undertaking event management duties (including assisting with event registrations and processing payments), undertaking administrative duties (including developing meeting notes as well as other reports), performing reception duties, assisting with developing written content for a newsletter as well as developing other documents.
I have also worked at RMIT University as an Alumni Assistant. My role mainly revolved around managing the RMIT industry mentoring programs, undertaking event management duties (including assisting with event registrations as well as providing support during events), undertaking administrative duties (including scanning documents as well as developing various reports), assisting with research tasks as well as providing general support to the Alumni Team.
I have also volunteered with a variety of Not-For Profit Environmental organisations. For example, I have volunteered with AYCC as a donor communications officer and I have volunteered with Friends of The Earth as a communications team member.
