About Jacqueline

I am a year 3 student which is studying at the University of Melbourne, currently undertaking Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Accounting and Finance. I have developed a range of skills through case studies and assignments, such as organization, teamwork and time management skills. I possess a high level of computer literacy as a result of broad-using Microsoft office and Google Drive.
I have joined Live Projects Program which is organized by Study Melbourne (State Government of Victoria). The program offers me the opportunity to take part in a 3 weeks business consulting project with industry partners including Victorian Government agencies, business and community organizations. Being offered to work on real world business problems and being the group leader of the team, I have further developed my consulting, project management, leadership and teamwork skills while guiding by industry mentors.
I have worked as an assurance intern in PWC during last summer holiday in Hong Kong and it had influenced a lot towards my career choice. It has provided me with experience, lessons and tools that would be useful in the workforce. I have also acquired communication skills thanks to my daily interactions with my colleagues. In particular, it has allowed me to deploy the theoretical skills that I have been learning at the university level. Some of the technical requirements of the job included using their Aura software to input the workings that we have audited throughout the year.
One of my proudest achievement is to have been the Sponsorship Team Director of Melbourne University Hong Kong Student Association for a year. I gained a lot of experience in communicating with a variety of sponsors. I also gained a lot of leadership skills by directing my fellow Sponsorship team committees to find new sponsors and teach them to negotiate. Being the only source of money to the whole club, it could be quite challenging sometimes but it helped me elevate myself professionally.
