About Callum

I completed my undergraduate studies at The University of Sydney, completing a Bachelor of Arts focused on behavioural and social sciences, environmental sciences, geography and Asian studies. I was fortunate to complete part of my degree in the Asia Pacific, including a selective study programme on public housing in Singapore as part of the New Colombo Plan pilot year, and a semester exchange at Yonsei University in South Korea. I was also awarded a travel scholarship from the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences based on my academic achievement.
I'm now studying my final year of the Master of Urban Planning at The University of Melbourne. From here I have honed skills in planning laws, policy and theory. I have primarily focused my studies on transport planning and social planning. I am interested in the ways transport infrastructure and urban development impacts people, and meaningful methods of community engagement and consultation.
I have applied skills in demographic and statistical analysis, professional report writing, social media engagement, as well as competency in software such as Adobe Suite, Excel, and Microsoft Office.
I have work experience from the customer service sector, providing me beneficial skills in client relations and communication. During my undergraduate degree, I was an active member of the clubs and societies programme, taking roles in events management, secretary, and vice president for several groups.
