Organisation and Time management skills • Well-developed organisational and task prioritisation skills developed through completion of assignments, group work and academic study to ensure all work is completed on time and efficiently.
Communication skills • High level of written communication developed in academic study, through writing takes such as; reflective journals, project reports and essays. • Able to communicate clearly with people from different backgrounds and cultures. • Confidence in verbal communication developed through giving presentations, participation in group tutorials in university and providing training to junior cadets as an instructor.
Teamwork • Ability to work cooperatively with people from different backgrounds and cultures as developed through group work in academic study and field exercises in Air Force Cadets. • Participated in various team-building exercises as an Air Force Cadet that improved teamwork skills through fostering better communication, using co-operation to solve problems, learning about personal and other people’s strengths and weaknesses. Problem Solving • Academic studies in the Engineering field has developed the ability to come up with solutions to problems that are practical as well as efficient, demonstrated in project work and field exercises in which our cadet teams were given scenarios and we needed to come up with a strategy.• Flexibility, able to come with solutions in case of any unforeseen circumstances. As part of Cadet field exercises often instructors would introduce unexpected problems and test our abilities to adapt to the challenging situation.Extra-Curricular Activities

Underwent the Junior Non Commissioned Officer Training Course, received training on Command, Leadership, Field craft, Drill and Instructional Technique.
Participated in training activities such as field exercises, team building exercises air experience flights and other theoretical aviation related training and activities.
Advanced to the rank of Cadet Corporal, responsibilities included; instruction of junior cadets, leading cadets in field exercises and acting as a point of contact to address any complaints that cadets had.
2017 RMIT Future Edge ProgramParticipating in RMIT Future Edge program, personal development program to enhance employability skills. Participating in employability workshops targeting:
