EDUCATION- 2014-2017 The University of Exeter: BA (Hons) Business and Management 2:1 (Achieved) Business Project: Provided strategic recommendations for business transformation of a Non-profit Dental Institute in India. The recommendations were substantially about achieving cost efficiency by changing the technologies in use and through efficient Design Thinking and Value Based Management techniques. Exhaustive internal, external and financial analysis was employed along with preliminary research. In the form of surveys and in-depth interviews, to develop ameliorated comprehension of the Institute’s culture and operations. This enhanced the quality of the strategies recommended to vanquish the impediments faced by the Institute. 2007-2014 The Sanskaar Valley School: Indian Standard Certificate’s- Commerce, English, Accounting, Economics and Business Studies with an 82% average. WORK EXPERIENCE- August-January 2017; 18 Guru Gobind Singh College: Worked as a development officer with different projects, aiming to improve the overall performance of the organization and experience of all the stakeholders. Critically analyzing the market, competitors and the economy were a few major tasks that I administered. Along with, analyzing given data and conducting qualitative and quantitative research to solve impediments. Additionally, I accomplished my role as a marketer, which comprised formulating marketing campaigns and reaching the target market. Developed presentation and analytical skills, building statistical and reasonable data supporting the argument. Furthermore, I ameliorated my comprehension of various business activities including marketing, organizing, consulting and strategic management. August-October 2016 Sitel: Worked as a customer service representative under Whirlpool Campaign, building and retaining brand identity and loyalty through efficiently handling complaints. Developed clear communication skills, thus able to maintain healthy relationships with customers, employees and employers. Learned to take initiatives and make independent decisions in varied situations. Established problem-solving skills by dealing with complaints efficiently. Improved my understanding of human behavior by sharing experiences and applying consumer behavior models that I learned during my course.1The work environment disciplined my lifestyle, enhanced my interpersonal and organizational skills. Grew the understanding of responding in an empathic manner and that having integrity leaves a positive impact on the outside world. May-July 2015 Home-Fundraising: Worked as a fundraiser for British Heart Foundation and Barnardo’s raising money and awareness. Learned to efficiently work in teams coping well with the pressure for meeting targets timely. Developed skills including persuasion, decisiveness, inclusiveness, team management, and objection handling. Ameliorated comprehension of collaboration and cooperation. Additionally, raising funds for reputed charities enabled me to enhance my negotiation and problem solving skills. The overall experience increased my knowledge about the causes that I worked for, ranging from Global sustainability, poverty and the environment to healthcare and homelessness.
